Terms
WorkSealed is sold through the Mac App Store and licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement governs your use of the app. We add no terms of our own on top of it.
What that means in practice
- Your data is yours. It is stored on your Mac, in files you control. We have no copy and claim no rights to it. See the privacy policy.
- Your evidence files are yours to publish. An exported evidence package — including the verifier page inside it — is yours to send, host or attach to anything you like, with no permission needed from us.
- The licence is per Apple’s rules. Family Sharing, refunds, device limits and transfers all work the way they do for any Mac App Store app; Apple, not us, holds the purchase record.
What WorkSealed does not promise
WorkSealed produces cryptographic evidence about what it recorded. That is a narrower claim than it may sound, and we would rather be plain about the edges than have you discover them during a dispute:
- It proves records were sealed when they were sealed, and that nothing changed afterwards. It cannot prove who was physically at the keyboard.
- It proves an invoice line matches a sealed record. Lines you add by hand carry no such evidence, and every invoice says which lines are which.
- The evidence is a technical fact, not a legal outcome. Whether any tribunal, client or auditor accepts it is not something software can decide, and nothing here is legal advice.
